I am a fan of I.A.C, granted, but there's loads of 'cheap' TV on now, why not even try repeating decent stuff?
The Duchess of Duke Street and Upstairs Downstairs?
maybe Downton Abbey fitted that category for us,
What kind of programme can you say you really enjoyed and would love to see it back?

Dallas, now yer talking cazzz..
Not sure about what I'd like to see again, but if I never saw another repeated episode of Last of the Summer Wine it would be too soon. Husband is a fan(atic) and I'm SICK of it. Spend a lot more time than I should on AB in an attempt to get away from it!
I HATE last of the summer wine, the "gentle" humour is obviously lost on me..

me too, Bill likes it, I think 3 aged blokes cavorting in a tin bath sliding down a hill is bloody stupid with a capital S
i quite liked last of the summer wine :/

that and Dads Army...didn't do it...neither did Benny Hill I always thought he was a tad 'pervy'..
Last of the summer Wine was a bore for me. For some reason I loved It Ain't Half Hot Mum and Some Mother's do Ave Em.
Rock Follies - yes Bobbi, Rula Lenska, Julie Covington, and Charlotte Cornwell. I loved it - I even bought the soundtrack (oh dear).

Father Ted.

But unlikely, in view of his demise.... :-(
The Camomile Lawn
The tomorrow people
Fawlty Towers

I adored Father Ted salla, I know an Irish fella who is a dead ringer for him too
the gentle touch
cats eyes
I loved Z Cars and Dixon of Dock Green, but can you imagine how tame they'd be now. The world has changed a bit since then!
I can't contribute too much here,as I haven't seen a lot of that stuff....but after 20 years in the UK-I still don't like Last of the Summer Wine,or Dads Army.....but I did like a lot of the classic 70's sitcoms like Butterflies, and The Good Life. As for American series-I loved Thirtysomething-from the late 80's....as a babyboomer-I really identified with it
Watch with Mother, Champion the Wonderhorse and Rin-Tin-Tin were the stuff of my childhood. I'm sure they'd still be enjoyed by the wee ones.

he was always dying to get in that box for a threesome imo...lol

Yankeee, I loved some of your exports like Cheers, Fame, Happt Days ;-)
