I know the singer, not comedian James blunt was in the army in some way and I know for certain he was in tanks. He mentioned it on top gear where he said the tank he was in was the first into whichever country they were fighting, and he tried to take his guitar with him but he wasn't allowed it isdie because there wasn't room.
