I agree with you charmer. I dont think he should be allowed on tv at all. If people want to see the sicko they should go to his shows. I would'nt watch him for all the tea in China as the old saying goes.

last week i started to watch tramadol nights, turned it over after less than 5 minutes, biggest load of rubbish, and talk about swearing, he is pathetic

I saw him on Mock the Week and thought he was very clever but Tramadol Nights has changed my mind. I too turned it off - it was abysmal.

Answerprancer - he is Frankie Boyle, supposedly one of the top stand-up comedians in the country. All I can say is we can't have any very good ones if this is the highest standard.

I only caught a few minutes of it last night while channel surfing, but turned over fairly quickly.

The sketch that was on was about a teacher who would take children back in time to various periods in history by masturbating.

It showed him sitting in a chair (with a blanket over his lower half) and half a dozen children round the chair.

He started w**king and so they went back in time.

Pathetic or what...and this on the BBC.

Chinadog - I've never seen him make a joke about babyP so my opinion of him is from what I have seen only.

Some of his stuff on Tramadol Nights is absolutely hilarious ( like Christianity being based on what a mentally ill person said 2000 years ago 'That bush talked to me') - that sketch was really funny imho. Some of it is however just lame and not funny at all- but the same thing goes for all comedians- you can't find everything anyone does funny all the time.
He's designed to shock and often he does, but since he's known for it then I can't understand why people who are easily shocked watch him and then throw their hands up in horror and say 'Oooooh I'm shocked!!!' all surprised.

I laugh at sick jokes in a shocked kind of way. For the simple reason that I see them for what they are.

i had heard of him but never actually watched him so until i did i couldnt make up my mind, now i have seen him i stick by my first impression, he's rubbish

I like Frankie Boyle and watched the show last week. I think i prefer him doing stand-up than sketches but bits of the show were funny, i enjoyed his Knight Rider druggie sketch but other bits werent so funny. He is a very rude and not at all Pc comic so if he isnt your cup of tea then simply dont watch it!

in short he told bad taste jokes about Katie Price's handicapped child (autism and more). She (her lawyer or publicisit, and yes probably that Max Clifford) is asking for an apology from Ch4 (who showed the offending programme) or they will go to Offcom witha formal complaint.
