Last nights Eggheads just proved that they think they know everything but infact don't !
A question was asked as to what an Akita was. The visiting team member correctly guessed the answer was a dog, at which point Judith Keppel pipped up that it was a dog that had shaved fur and fluffy parts akin to a groomed poodle. How wrong is that !!!!
No one corrected her, and she just sat there with that stupid smug look on her face.
They are all such stuck up t**ts full of their own self importance.

Daphne is the one who really riles me - she always seems so smug and obviously loves to stop the other team from winning any money. When anyone gets an answer right she always smiles and nods as if to say "I knew that".

I can never pass up the chance to comment whenever Eggheads is mentioned. I love the programme but I can't abide Daphne or CJ. They should be told to stop grimacing and gesturing especially when someone is trying hard to answer. Daphne should also desist from nodingher head indicating that somebody has the correct answer - it's the job of the quiz master to say if the answer is correct or not. Have you seen how Daphne pulls faces if Judith is trying to get an answer and she doesn't know! Arrgghhh you see what you've done now feebee - you've got my hackles up! ANyway I thinks it's just about to start so off I go. I hope they get beaten again tonight.

dunno why you are so surprised at a bunch of quizzers being knowledgeable. Why do you find it so threatening? The more you know the more you know you don't know. That of course works both ways, that's why those as thick as pig sh1te think they know everything. Dunno why they seem to wind you up so much, I'm impressed with their knowledge, no one knows it all.

Aside from their arrogance (which isn't a necessary part of being intelligent) it was the fact that she professed to know EXACTLY what a Japanese Akita was, then proceeded to describe some powder-puff lap-dog .. without ANY of the other team correcting her.
