the social worker was not dismissed.

They trying out a new test. A really basic test for babies and toddlers. If a child is loved and taken care of...when the Mother interacts with them and gets them laughing she is then to suddenly go straight faced and ignore them.

The baby/toddlers reaction to this apparently speaks volumes....

A baby that is not use to being ignored in that manner gets quite distressed very quickly. Apparently...

It just makes me wonder about the amount of times I've walked away from my kids because...the phone rang, the doorbell went, the spuds were boiling over....

I wonder did I damage them?

I could'nt watch it but I was reading that social workers should be taught to read body language i-e how "Suspects fold their arms,eye contact etc. Connely kept her arms folded throughout the interview apparently. I wonder if Frankie Boyle watched Panorama? More fodder for his evil jokes?
