On this side of Suffolk, Molly, we've hardly seen any snow at all. There's just been a very light dusting of the stuff. (Not enough to make a single snowball).
When I was teaching in Sheffield, the snow was once so bad that all bus services in the city were cancelled. So I walked the 8 miles to school, finding that the snow was thigh-deep in places. When I got to the school, the cleaners (who were the only people there) told me that I must have left home just a minute or two before Radio Sheffield had announced that the school was closed! So (after a very welcome cup of tea) I had to turn straight round and walk 8 miles home again!
