Any one else glad we're all back to normality now? Back to work, Shops open as normal, busses as normal, Traffic as normal, Decorations down, Normal food, Kids back to school as normal Ahhhhh! - Relief.
Yep, everything back to normal apart from the price increases. I'm trying to do a Tesco delivery order and my weekly shopping cost seems to have risen by about £20.
First day back at work for me. Ugh :-(
First day of a lot of snowfall since before christmas.
Back to dieting & trying to cut down on alcohol.
Back to having to make appointment for session at gym with trainer.
I know what you mean tigger, - I give myself a budget and I keep going over it then I have to check back to see what I can delete and its getting more and more difficult. Mmmm! I suppose thats normal too eh?
I'm with you on this one Jem. The long drawn-out period of Christmas and New Year is just an unwelcome, monotonous drag. To be honest I hate it and feel nothing but relief when it's all over. Christmas as a religious festival would lose nothing by being celebrated at some other weekend in the year, and possibly have a mid-winter Bank Holiday to celebrate the passing of the shortest day.
xmas isnt until 6th jan in spain so im keeping up cards and tree until then, we were sent some spanish xmas cards so got to keep the festive period going a bit longer!
JB Our boxes of chocs are screamers too, they just won't let up I'm going to have to hide em.
Even the kids selection boxes have started now, especially the Maltesers, I'm gonna have to shut em up.- - - - - "I'm coming - I'm coming" - - - -
