Having her second baby but can't wait to get her face back on Britains Got Talent and also on stage in Shrek the Musical. Wouldn't be surprised if she plays Shrek. But why keep having babies if you have no intention of bringing them up and being a mummy? She doesn't need the money, just the fame.

i think you could say the same about most parents nowadays - i would postulate that most of them put their children into some sort of childcare so they can work

Yes, I agree Bednobs, and it is not always because they need the money. It seems to be the norm nowadays and I think it's a great shame.

or perhaps the dad will look after the children (BTW i would hardly call 2 children in the space of about 5 years "keeping on" having them)

I am very proud to have lived on a shoestring but stayed at home with my child in his preschool years. (I worked in the evening to make ends meet when 'Dad' was at home).

There are 'needs' and there are 'wants' and somehow they have got mixed up!!

Generally people tend to live up to/over their means. Although she probably earns a lot from what she does, she also probably has large outgoings. Ok, so she could move to a smalle rhouse and have a smaller mortgage, but in truth unless we live in a studio, so could most of us!
Perhaps she has a work ethic and had already committed to the projects you mention before she found out she was pg? Don't get me wrong, she annoys the hell out of me, and i'm not defending her, just defending the right of mums in general to go to work if they want to/need to

I don't see the problem. I took minimal maternity leave as I have a mortgage to pay. I'd love to stay at home (still quite keen to quit working!) but I have no intentions of bringing my kids up on benefits. I don't think they've suffered.

good luck to her.. why shouldn't she? she probably works less hours than the majority of working women, and can take her baby with her.
