Julia Bradbury -v- Miriam O Reilly

I wonder what 39 year old Julia Bradbury will look like when she is as old as 51 year old Miriam O'Reilly. She looks like a horse now, in fact an old nag. And the way she walks around the country in that programme ... she almost swaggers, with her new BBC-paid-for padded coats and hats and scarves, a new outfit every week. Ugh. Miriam is really attractive, I can't say the same about Julia.

Julia is not one of those women who you could say was 'beautiful' but there's something about the sum of all her parts amounting to something very attractive.

Always thought Julia looked a bit mannish! Hasn't got many feminine features probably because when we see her she is always dressed in trousers jacket cap and scarf!

Sorry cazz, I know its not her fault that Miriam lost her job, I was just making comparisons and I feel that Miriam is a prettier woman, and for me she would have looked fine on the tellie. They still have John Craven on there with his whistling teeth, at age 68, so something is wrong there. :)

I agree-I was disappointed when they did the re-shuffle, have never taken to Julia. Always in new clothes or a new swimsuit or wetsuit, too much of a showoff.

What difference does it make how old the presenters are as long as they can do the job?

Don't forget a lot of BBC clothing comes from wardrobe, she probably doesn't get to take it home.

...either that or she can afford to keep buying herself new stuff. I can't imagine that the BBC pays for working gear for Adam and the other presenters so why should they buy for Julia? Do they pay for Ann Robinson's black get-ups?
