Whats wrong with Emmerdale

Anybody else got this weird semi transparent black box across most of the lower third of the programme. It is not on any other channel...........

I have freeview too, but through a freeview recorder, although my tv does have built in freeview....

Obviously ITV or their broadcast station - they cleared it 15 minutes into the Leeds-Arsenal FA Cup programme. I rather enjoyed Adrian Chiles being partly blacked out........

All well in the West Midlands too.

They are telling us here that work is being carried out this week on our local transmitter during the night, 12.00-6.00am, in readiness for digital TV and the loss of the analogue signal. I believe Cornwall was one of the first to switch to digital so it can't be that, can it?
