Anybody else watching Mary Portas, Secret Shopper on Channel 6?

She's trying to show Chris George, the owner of Pilot, how his staff should be treating his customers! Do you think she'll convert him?

I agree with what she says, but I would rather not be bothered by staff when I am browsing. They can hover and I don't like that. However they should smile and be helpful when needed. I dont think Mary will be able to convert all these cheapie shops unfortunately, but we get what we pay for. And if you really really want that top from Primark, you will queue however long you have to. I must admit I wasn't glued to the screen because I usually like her, I think maybe she has run out of ideas for a programme.

I like her,but (as in the Charity Shop fiasco,in her last BBC series) I think she is too strident and has a reverse effect sometimes?
smurf,you would love Harrods(near me) when they train staff the first thing(and it's a cardinal rule) is,"NEVER approach a cusromer" if they need you they will find you,of course Harrods does have more staff than the average store.
