But I have just watched My Big Fat Greek Wedding, at first you think, yuk, how ott are these people, then when you hear their morals of no sex before marriage and keeping within their own community, I had think,,,perhaps they could teach non-Gypsys a thing or two, I did find it very odd when Swanley, the groom , was trying to find the church he was to be married in, he was allowed to say "Oh fluff, that's a P**i wedding taking place in there!!! when he went to the wrong place, suprised it was aired!

they had a distinct Irish accent a lot of them last night when I watched it, they were referred to as Irish Tinkers and Romany Gypsies
They were Irish.
They're english of long past mixtures. They would not be welcome in our local irish clubs.
