TURKEY

Myself and partner are looking to go away 2/3 week in June A/I for 1 week.
We want somewhere hot ,we are thinking of Turkey never been there before and not sure what area would suit a couple in there fiftys very young at heart,still love night-life etc.
Any ideas anyone ?

Hi guys,we have been twice now and its great,we flew to Dalaman and stayed at Hisoranou.Its a good area plenty to do,I did the hang-gliding off mount bagdah! 6500ft it was brilliant.its one of the best places in the world to do it if you have the bottle and I am 55yrs.its facinating just to watch them flying if you can't get yourself to do it.I think Turkey is similar to Greece and the restaurants are very good also.We took pound notes with us and just exchanged it there when the rate was good.You will have have a great time there.

go for it! Turkey is fabulous I stayed in Fetihye. it has loads of places to eat drink and be merry. it has a fish market where you can choice your fish and then have it cooked for you! it was delicious. not far from beautiful beaches and lots to do.
