Is anyone else getting thoroughly brassed off with Brenda in Emmerdale? Whinging drunk that she is. I mean I'm sorry about Terry and all that, but really, WHY should it automatically be Andy Sugden who started the fire, simply because as a boy he made a mistake trying to help his father out with an insurance claim? It doesn't make sense this vendetta she has against him... and her wretched daughter Gennie.
And another thing that bothers me slightly, just HOW MANY bent cops are there in that particular police station? The last one got himself slung in the pond by poor little Jasmine not so long ago. Lord bless us, are we being asked to believe that most police stations are stuffed full of rapists and fire raisers - I do hope not!!

What happened about the murder of Tom King? Did the sons get away with it? (Sorry to go off topic slightly here).

Thanks pinki. I don't watch much telly at all except for Coronation Street, and I remember that chap - Tom King - because he used to be Billy Walker in Corrie. :o)

Never have liked Leslie Dunlop who plays Brenda. They should have killed her off in
the fire not Terry. The Lisa story is annoying me to, when she goig to tell Zak about
the rape at the sweet factory, It's been goin onfar too long. Very few people ever seem
to get their come-uppance in soapland. She still has to see the creep everyday at
work and Zak's treating him like his best mate.

Completely agree-Brenda is driving me nuts, I wonder how they will play it when the truth comes out? She should be sued for slander, drink driving, wilful damage and a few other things, being a dreary actress among them.

They should have killed Brenda off and kept Viv (although I understand it was the actress herself, Deena King, who asked to go).

Viv was a great character - one minute you loved her, the next you detested her. She was funny and complex. But the hair... the short skirts...!!

Brenda is just.... well, boring really.

Mmmm, not sure I agree with the Lisa story going on too long. I think it's been just about right - she's obviously ready to crack or break down. Remember, she's keeping it quiet because she's afraid that Zack (or any of the rest of the Dingles, including Belle) will kill him.... she's not so much worried about herself, but any family repercussions I think.

I don't like Brenda either but she's blinded by grief & is obsessed with blaming Andy.
I don't think the Lisa story's gone on long at all...apparently it will all be resolved so maybe he's done it before?

Derek was chatting to (cr@p! can't remember her name, the blind one) in the factory the other day and said something to her about going for a drink.. wonder if he will do something to her too?? maybe that will make Lisa speak out or feel guilty for not doing so sooner?? just an idea xx

Tom King case was dropped due to lack of evidence....Brenda needs to wise up and sober up ..fast losing sympathy with the character....mind you a good few rozzers have been put away in recent months...rape..extortion..drug dealing...all in the last 12 months or so.....

I'm so glad most of you feel the same as I do, I'm almost reluctant to turn it on now because Brenda annoys me so much and I can't afford to throw something through the television screen!!!! As for the Lisa thing, I'm reasonably happy with that, except that if she doesn't tell someone soon she'll explode, but the chap who did the rape actually appears to believe he hasn't done anything wrong. Last night he looked astonished when Lisa told him to sling his hook - I really think he thinks it was consensual. I look forward to Zak putting him right!!!
