Just me..........or did anyone else consider the documentary on Madagascar tonight to be something really really special??? Amazing photography and wild-life, can't wait for the next two episodes.

Yes, we thought it was fabulous. You couldn't make it up! Good old Attenborough strikes again!
some of the creatures on there are odder than Star Wars creations!
odder than David Attenborugh himself.......
Absolutely amazing! The BBC is either utter rubbish or fantastic value for money with programmes like Madagascar with the brilliant David Attenborough,
Yes television at its very best. Amazing that the BBC can go to the other extreme by making programmes such as Eastenders.
I agree with with mickrog and I can think of loads more EE type rubbish!
utterly fabulous

the giraffe beetle folding that huge leaf and rolling it up, and each beetle has her own way of doing it, was just stunning to watch

the whole programme was amazing
I was mesmerised by that too Nummy, and the male ones fighting with their long necks, not to mention all the various lemurs and those pygmy chameleons! Excellent!
I remember writing a book review for Zoo Quest in Madagascar by David Attenborough which was published in my school magazine. This was in 1962!
Excellent wasn't it. I never realised how big Madagascar was. Always though of it as a small island. Absolutely fascinating and can't wait for next one.
Chameleons in black and white wouldn't have been so impressive though Mike!
Yes I thought that too Jan, its much bigger than I realised
It was a book, not a TV programme. Even in those primitive days we had colour photography. I can still picture the lorus, halfway up a tree with those huge saucer eyes.
Only joking Mike,I was born in full colour round about then (as the baby photos testify!)
In my eyes, David Attenborough can do no wrong! Absolutely stunning programme.
