TV programme synopsis

I seem to have lost the synopsis info. at the bottom of the screen.It simply statesS[A/D]!!
It seems to have co-incided with me switching off the TV/DVR at night in order to see the savings I could make(recently aquired an elec monitor).Could the switching off be the problem or something else?

I know that my Freeview box updates it's TV Guide overnight. So yes possibly because you are turning it off overnight it cannot update.

Thanks stoofur for the comment. Will I get back the up to date downloads by leaving on S/B all the time [by catch up] over the next few days or so?(I have lost the prog.guide info. as well) or will further action be needed??

Yes it should sort it's self out. I recently got one of those electricity monitors and having the STB on standby and switching it off at the plug didn't make a massive difference to be honest.
