70's (?) programme about 2 pilots

Can anyone remember as far back as the 70's (possibly early 70's) about a programme based around 2 pilots/ aeronauts? Not sure if it was a children's programme? It isn't "I dream of Jeannie" The theme tune was something like "Faster and faster boys, your place in the sky (?) da dee dee dee......when the do or die aeronauts fly!"
