I don't think I have a favourite.
Painter, Dave Allen was truly great. I saw Mick Miller recently on comedy rocks - that noddy routine made me laugh as much as it did twentys year ago!
I've been to see a few stand up acts and I think Dara I'll Briain has been the best so far.

I too love Dave Allen, I also love Lee Mack, and Tim Vine - he's the king of the one-liners. Lee Evans is also very good...

I love clever humour and very quick witted.

I just loved Morcombe and Wise (do they count as stand-up comedians?)

But also love Frankie Boyle. Can be offensive but i just love how he tells jokes.

agree with Stewart Francis builder, seen him a few times on mock the week and he does ace one liners! Also agree with boxtops on the anti- Frankie Boyle front, don't think he's funny at all!
Sean Lock and Milton Jones are ace too!
