what was your favourite outdoor game as a kid ? knock down ginger was our gangs favourite until we picked on a four storey block of old flats, two knockers/doors on each floor for the umpteenth time and the ground floor were waiting for us, all the other occupants came down because of the commotion and we got a slap from them all. Didnt dare go home to complain we would have got another wallop !

look away if you dont want to hear this ![joke] and I dont know what they called it but by the time my eldest lad was up to high jinks they used to collect dog poo and put it in about five brown paper bags that the greengrocer etc used to dish out, put it on a doorstep, set light to the brown paper and knock on the door and run. Now what do you do if something is alight on your doorstep you stamp on it ! leave the rest to your imagination ! my then hubby couldnt tell the lad off for laughing it was left up to me to keep a straight face !

I got caught by my mother doing cartwheels without my knickers to entertain my friend's brothers (I was about 7 ). I'll always remember because I was sent to bed for the rest of the day!
