Thank you, boxy and all. Xxx
We made it out last night, but only to the village. We trundled through the snow in our wellies carrying our heels in Tesco carrier bags. We weren't the only ones! We got a lovely table right next to a roaring, crackling fire and had a lovely bottle of Champagne. The table next to us was full of the most handsome, muscle-bound men I have ever seen in my life. One of them was flirting with me and mum kept pinching me under the table and making me laugh.
Some people were dressed in proper ski suits standing at the bar quaffing wine and there was such an amazing atmosphere in there. I'm really glad we made the journey now, despite the family's protestations.
We went over the road for an Indian and then trundled home. Xxx
