Just heard Julie Birchill on desert island discs. What an absolute child! I could tell that Kirsty Young struggled to like and be patient with her. Dreadful woman.

She sounded like a silly cow to me. Why would anyone agree to go on a nationwide radio program, knowing that they would make a Snag of themselves ?

When people are arguing for the legalization of drugs, perhaps they should just stop and think "Julie Birchill"
