I've been Googling this and only getting false leads (similar 'Alive with Music' theme with different backing earlier this year and in previous years)
Latest ad is showing about 6 times a day on the BBC News channel and has visuals for Radio 2 2DAY, Bollywood Carmen, Glastonbury, Summer of Live Music.
Music track starts with staccatto guitar riff before picking up tempo. Vocal style is somewhere between Foals and M83.
The lyrics (or what I think they're saying) are also Google-proof.
Any answers greatly appreciated. (Apologies in advance if it takes me days or weeks to acknowledge & thank any replies).
I know the one you mean and I really liked the sound of it too. I wondered if someone would ask on here. You could try emailing the BBC and asking them (I did this once and they answered my question). Then come back and tell us!
Fast forward to 3:00 for the bit I thought was the start of the track. :-)
The reason I didn't get any useful google hits on the lyrics was that I was seeking "I know.... where the grass grows" when the lyric, somewhat ironically, is actually the opposite:- "I won't.... let the flowers grow".
