Radio 4 Sat Afternoon Play

Did anyone else listen to Radio 4 this afternoon a play called "Lanark"?
I always listen to radio 4 when gardening saturday afternoons. I could not make head or tail of this one though

I sometimes listen in but the tv guide in today's Mail said 'makes no sense at whatsoever' so I didn't bother. Seems it was accurate!

I looked it up on Google. It was written by one Alasdair Gray - leaving me even more confused! Apparently it is a cult book!! Enough said!

Mrs. bb tried to make sense of it, also, but after half an hour she gave up and put Classic FM on instead.

Reminds me of certain films which have cult status which I just don't get. "Withnail and I" for starters. (Anyway it should be Withnail and me")
