That explains a lot. I thought it has improved in the last few weeks, so hopefully we aren't going to have to suffer Eastenders type stories.

Hasn't the vicar gone to stay in one of his other parishes deserting his flock to the flood?
In Brookfield apparently ! ( there must be a huge queue for the bathroom every morning ! )

I hadn't thought about the Vicar having to move because of flooding...you might be right.

To be honest I thought the flooding episodes were some of the worst I had heard for a long time - although it has encouraged a few more story lines
'Eastenders in a field'? Is it really like that? It used to be just 'an everyday story of countryfolk', so where has that gone?

Regarding the editor - in next week's Radio Times there's an article about Grace Archer's death, and the editor is still the same person - Sean O'Connor - who is the one who got all the flack about 'Eastenders in a field'. So apparently the editor hasn't changed. I'm confused now, because I did think the storylines had improved.
Good. Outvoted, thank goodness. Won't spoil it for the others, but they're not going to be walked over. Hope he doesn't bully Henry while he's alone with him, or are we getting paranoid?
Hellywelly...I think we have every reason to be paranoid ! He is going to clout that lovely little boy one day.

If I were the scriptwriter, I would have Helen discover some bruises on Henry, that were not there the last time she looked !

I am still puzzled by Pat being apparently taken in by her horrid son-in-law. She is nobodies fool and it just isn't in character at all. The old Pat would have seen through him in about 5 mins flat !
Things are getting worse, don't trust him Helen! There's an ulterior motive to everything he does!
Is Helen pregnant?

She keeps being told she looks a bit pale, and she chose a non alcoholic drink at the event.
No intention of looking for another job has he. Don't answer that. Worming his way even deeper into the family by adopting Henry and sticking his nose into everything he'll be running the whole shebang soon if he has his way. And Helen won't be able to move soon without his permission.
She might be pregnant or she's getting the first pangs of doubt about her wonderful Rob. She didn't seem to jump at the idea when he suggested the adoption. Great story line though. Finding myself waiting for their voices in every episode.
Does anybody really believe that the Horrid Hazel has really changed her mind about converting the shop into flats ? Most unconvincing episode last night...even Peggy can't work miracles !
Spoiler alert.

Sorry Hoppy...I forgot about our radio silence until after the Sunday Morning Omnibus !
I thought it was very strange too, Mikey - she isn't the sort of person who would change her mind just like that.
I couldn't believe what I was hearing from Hazel either.
Is she saving face with the situation regarding the lease? There's only been her word about the special conditions in the will. What's Rob's motive in wanting to adopt Henry?
Zebo...total and complete control......he is the perfect definition of a Control Freak !
Did anybody listen to the new Grace Archer play, and is it worth it ?
