Surely Pip and Toby must realise that Ed was involved in rounding up the escaped cows.

How can they hope to keep it secret?

Mind you, Toby isn't blessed with many brain cells.
Question Author
I agree Hoppy. I expect Pip to spill the beans any day now !
I can't see how the writers are going to bring it to a happy ending. It's already nasty, and is heading to get worse.
Question Author
Hoppy....interesting article about IBR. I hadn't realised how serious it can be !

If David and Ruth bought the cattle last year, would the virus have been dormant for this long before showing these symptoms?
Question Author
Hoppy....I am getting a tad confused here !

I thought that David and Ruth didn't check that the new beasts were virus-free in the first place. If that is so, then IBR can remain dormant but still be able to pass on to other animals, which looks like what has happened here.

The virus could have spread by other means. But the fault would appear to be David and Ruths in the first instance, in not checking properly.
OK, I was just looking for some way that David and Ruth could be found innocent.

Perhaps it could be found that their cattle were in fact virus free, on some missing paperwork. Blame could then be aimed at Rob Titchener or Darrington cricket club.
Question Author
Lets blame Rob....after all, he might as well be hung for a sheep as a lamb !
Question Author
The plot thickens !

Too many people know Pip....come clean and shame the Devil.

PS...is there a queue I can join, the one to give Josh a kick up the ass ?
Spoiler alert?
Thanks for posting, Hoppy. I'm grabbing at your post as the only way to get on here these days. Haven't heard today's episo0de, or yesterdays. The cows/Pip/Toby thing is not good. She was beginning to sound sensible. Keep posting guys - I don't know why I can't get a + on the media section, but I can't and I have asked the Ed. twice. :(
I find that when I click on the Media section, there's no + but if I click on it a second time it then opens the sub-sections, a bit of a nuisance.
Click on 'subscribe' and you can find the thread again easily.

Whenever I hear Toby, i picture the actor/comedian Jack Whitehall. I find him annoying too.

Last night, Justine proved just what a silver tongue he has, winning over Peggy !
Question Author
Unusually for me, I missed last nights episode, and when I tried to listen to it this morning, there is an embargo on it, presumably until after today's repeat at 14:00 !

Which I shall probably miss as well !

Its all very trying you know !
I hope it lightens up soon, this is uncomfortable listening.

It's about as much fun as EastEnders
Question Author
Bloody Hell !...hello pussy cat !

And there were some people that said The Archers weren't the same any more since Rob disappeared !

Oh Joy of Joys !

What a happy household we are at Mikey Towers !
Question Author
Where all our AB Archers fans these days ?
Question Author
I would have liked to hear the punch that gave him the black eye !
I can cope with casual violence, all part and parcel of rural life, but can someone promise me we won't hear Justin and Lilian canoodling again - I'd just had my tea last time & was lucky to retain it ...
