A favourite Ambridge character, who died a few years ago, was also subject to Brian's attentions.

Betty Tucker, the Mum of Roy Tucker, used to be the cleaning lady for the Aldridges. She inadvertently loaded up the dishwasher, with the antique fish knives and consequently ruined them !

Brian suggested that instead of poor Betty paying in cash for their repair, she could come to an "arrangement" with Brian.

Thank goodness Betty's husband, Mike, never knew of this, as there could have been a murder in the village long before Rob Titchener had even been thought of !

I like listening to Brian, unlike most of the young characters who are SO annoying.

Very moving memorial service for Caroline. I've often thought that it must be hard for actors who have to mourn their former colleagues twice, once for real then again months later for the programme.
