zebo, the dastardly Matt really does have a soft spot for the fair Lilian, and he wants her for his own. The word on the street is that the wedding will not go ahead. I have a bet of £10 with my wife that the wedding will not happen, and I am certain that I shall collect my money in due course.

Matt will be speeding through Ambridge in his Bentley, with Archers theme playing in the background:-)

Bookie....I tending to agree with you. Simon Williams dropped a little clue months back, when he was being interviewed.

I am not speaking up for Matt here as such, but he can certainly lay on the charm when he has a mind to.

I am fairly convinced that he genuinely loves Lillian and I think the feeling is returned.

By this time next week, we should know for sure....its going to be a roller-coaster of a week !

Matt clearly feels that he is on shaky ground when he turned the 'conversation' to the surrogate baby, thus provoking Adam. If he had stuck to the main topic - Lillian - he might have been able to make a dignified retreat, but now? Any dignity has gone out of the window.

Well OK, it was Simon Williams. The character he plays is more obnoxious, but is similarly rich and money grabbing.

I think there will be a tremendous hoo-haa at the Hunt Ball.

My best guess is that Justin will brawl with Matt, and Matt will leave with a bloody nose, but not before the truth comes out....ie that Lillian and Matt have been seeing each other behind Justin's back. Poor Shula will be carted off in a straight jacket, as her Hunt Ball will be in ruins.

Justine will then, quite rightly, call the wedding off in high dudgeon. Whether Lillian and Matt will then fly off into the sunset together I am less sure.

One thing I am sure about, however, is how stupid Lillian has been over this whole affair.

If my understanding of it is correct, then the Ball was held last night, but will happen tonight.

I agree about the fecking Ball. Shula should never have accepted the role of Hunt Master in the first place.

However, lets hope there is a good ruck tonight....my money is still on Crawford getting a black eye from Justin !
