Does Everyone Actually Still Have Turkey...

Please does anyone know why, suddenly, last night our TV could not receive ITV on the usual numbers.
I've spent time today trawling through the 'Guide' and hitting every number attributed to ITV - 'no Signal' is always the message. We have an HD TV, so it can't be that and it was working fine until last night.

A Freesat dish will, by the laws of physics, be better at receiving some frequencies than others (as, indeed, will the circuitry within your TV set). So, when reception conditions are poor, it's not uncommon to lose one or more channels, while others remain perfectly OK.
We're currently in the middle of the biggest solar storm since 2017, meaning that there's a lot of electromagnetic energy from the sun pounding into your satellite dish and interfering with the signals coming from the Astra satellites that broadcast Sky and Freesat channels.
So you might simply have to wait a few days for the problem to resolve itself.
