Where Is Chris Moyles??!

Hi All!

I was listening to The Chris Moyles Show this morning - which was hosted by JK and Joel as the big man hadn't turned up! I only managed to listen in until about 8:30am and wondered if Chris appeared eventually, and if so, what were his reasons for coming in so late? (Was he drowning his sorrows because Leeds didn't make it into the Premiership?).

I am equally as intrigued... you can tell it was really genuine as well. There are two things worth noting. 1 - A professional like himself wouldn't dream of chucking a sicky and not telling his co-hosts. 2 - He slept in the BB house last week.The ONLY reason he would deliberately not turn up to his own show is if he wasn't allowed to say to anyone that he'd be doing something else, i.e. going into the BB house.

Or, he's dead. Either way, I don't know cos I can't log on to the Radio 1 site at work, and there's no other news about this, which I happen to think is possibly the biggest story of the day!

I've just been onto Chsir Moyles' MySpace.com blog and through Aled's link it says he is fine, hungover but okay. More will be explained in tomorrow's show...!! Hmmmm!!

Boooo... I'd have loved it if he was going into BB! I suspect he was on his way back down the M4, stopped off at some services, got recognised by some Watford fans, who promptly thought they'd stitch him up for a laugh.

Heh heh bbnd, I was thinking that as well! Just think though, if he did appear on BB, he would have smacked Shahbaz's head in by now!!

chris phoned his show this a.m. at 09:45 and sounded rather groggy, he had been drowning his sorrows ( after the leeds/watford game ) and was still in his hotel bed in cardiff. he had left a message on rachels work answerphone that he wouldn't be in on monday, but she didn't get the message. He will be back on tuesday normal service will be resumed then.

there was a story in the paper this morning that it was all a hoax / publicity stunt on the part of radio 1 - he had asked for the day off and was never actually expected in to work yesterday.

jk and joel were in on the 'gag' and were fully expecting to cover his show.
