Ben Shepherd - The Xtra factor

Anyone watch the Xtra factor tonight? I'm livid with Ben Shepherd. O,k, there are people out there that don't stand a chance at getting through, but at what point do so called " celebrities " forget to be compassionate/ human ,taking the pi&& big style in the name of entertainment! I'm referring to him break dancing with one of the failed audition's & generally thinking it big to humiliate people. Ben, you sold your soul for a paycheck

compassion?.....If there were any compassion then maybe the production company would save them the embarrassment by NOT showing them on prime time TV.....but unfortunately they know only too well that it is the viewing public that actually love to watch this ritual humiliation....So you should in fact take a closer look at your own actions before questioning those of others....x

ps:thats assuming that all of these people are 'real' and not paid actors...x

Ladyboyg1 - In answer to your comment. I do not condone anyone humiliating another human being. I watched this programme last night by pure chance whilst on the lap top. However, whether a regular viewer or not, I did enjoy the elation of the people that did succeed their audition & the spirit that drives a person to get up & perform in front of thousands, takes guts! A talent competition open to all, will always attract a cross section of hopefuls talented or not, yes there are some that haven't got a chance, but bottom line, that's their choice. I was personally shocked last night at the actions of Ben Shepherd, which is why I felt a need to comment.

There Was Nothing humiliating about Ben Shepard on the extra factor. Big people can be dancers and i think he was just trying to encourage her to do something that is good for her. Maybe bethan was proud of herself for dancing and proving that she Can actually do something and not get people dissing her like YOU.

I think it is in bad taste to mock people with mental health issues on TV.
