Has anyone noticed that some days their playlist is just superb and on others it is totally cr@p, wonder if they have different people choosing the list on different days?

For the rest of the day??? I think they have to play certain songs on the playlists of which there are 3 A, B and C), and they have a certain leeway of playing a favourite song of their own

I used to listen to R2 all the time from Alex Lester 03:00 - 06:00 until Steve Wright finished at 17:00. but these days I am getting fed up with the boring self indulgence of the DJs and the repetitive playlists. That Sarah Kennedy - what planet is she from? She's all over the place ~ carping on about 'dearly beloved' and sending SWs and chewing the fat about her cats and how cold the studio is. 'kin 'ell !! The money she earns she could go and buy a fan heater. Steve Wright used to be my fav but does anyone else find the whooping and cheering a bit passe and purile? Too much of a good thing I think.

What I don't get is why they decide that Sundays is the day we all lose any taste in the music we'd been listening to all week. OK some of the playlists can be a bit unadventurous but why, then, stick on show tunes and golden oldies all day Sunday?
Grrrrrrrrr surely there is a market for Elaine Paige but you would think her listeners must hate the rest of the weeks' playlists
