Is Radio 2 any good

Loads of people keep saying how good the ex controller is, and what a good job she has done.

But has she?

She is the one who brought those two idiots onto the station.

She also replaced the excellent Johnny Walker drive time show with the puerile Chris Evans..

Also the old dinosaurs of Tery Wogan and Ken Bruce are still there lazily reading out e mail after e mail and insulting the traffic reporters every twenty minutes or so.

Hopefully we get a new controller with the balls to really make it a great station.

I could make it a great station for a tenth of the cost! Thert's a lot of talent out there! Who needs "Woss?"

Panic i love el ted, and ken bruce is ok, and i like chris evans, they usually downgrade radio one presenters to radio 2, the big fat one will be next to join radio 2!!!

The best thing to come out of this whole fiasco is the downfall of Lesley Douglas. Not because of Brand or Evans on Radio 2, or even elbowing out Johnny Walker (agree with you wholeheartedly on that one) but because of putting the utterly, utterly moronic and talentless George Lamb (son of Eastenders "actor" Larry) on 6 Music. She clearly doesn't care about music, just about wacky, zany DJs with sycophantic "posses" whooping and hollering and laughing at their terrible attempts at humour.

Hopefully, now she's gone, her little poster boy won't be far behind. Of course, he's probably destined for a lucrative career on Radio 1. Fine by me - they deserve each other.
