Phil in the Archers

Does anyone know when he will be written out of the programme after the sad death of the actor who played him?

The programme is planned and written quite some time in advance (episode recordings take place about 6 weeks before transmission, I think). Many characters are referred to without being heard, so there will be no need to write Phil out quickly. My guess will be that he will fall ill before dying.
