Good morning All. I feel a lot better today after a good sleep. I've been worrying about my nethers lately because my Dr. said it wasn't heaps last time I went but I haven't seen any signs like I've been having since I'm using what he gave me last time and I have to go and see him next Friday to report. Sorry to go on but I know you lovely people wont mind.

I'm pleased today as well because I've had my power Bill and I'm in Credit to the tune of £59. 70.

It's really cold but another lovely day with the sun out. No snow yet though. I'm going shopping to Sainsburys then I don't know what, probably a walk will do me good. No footie today as we play our rivals Forest tomorrow (oops sorry Robi) K.O. at 12.15 and it's on Telly so if the weather is really bad I'll stop at home but the forecast is sunny until about 3 in the afternoon so it shoudl be ok to walk.

Getting the hang of my new phone and loving it. So easy, but still no Internet should be sorted by Monday all being well. Just waiting for a text from Orange.
I hope you are all ok and that you have a good weekend too,
Laters 'gaters...
I've just sent a post and it said added but nowhere to be seen so I'm just sending this to sii if it appears when I send is.
Well b****r me it's appeared I'm glad I didn't type it all out again.

Morning all...minus 5 here, no snow yet but I bet shaney will be wafting some this way before long. You're in early shaney, off for a skinny dip in the ole briney I expect? :o)
I didn't see a lovely red moon woofy, just my red nose plus dewdrop after I'd been out to feed the birds.

Sorry you're still having uncomfortable problems Jude, hope you feel better soon....prepare for a thrashing tomorrow! :o) Actually I couldn't name a single player any more, I used to try and keep some interest for my brother's benefit.
Tis a nuisance with the hidden post malarkey on this thread I agree...it might be time to unplug and move on...suggestions on a postcard please...somewhere warm!

Oh dear jno, have you tried that... erm.... whatisit...melatonin? Or have they dismissed it as phooey now? I'll pop in tonight and sing to you, that'll knock you out....think 'Margarita Pracatan meets Hilda Ogden' stylie.

Keep warm...and upright.
Keeping my legs firmly crossed for you jude. There are some awareness campaigns going on ATM and we all know what gps are like for bandwaggonning.
If its improving with the treatment, then that's good news. No snow here but its flaming freezing, Patio men are wrapped up like eskimos. The earlier are making us all flag a bit so if it snows tomorrow we will have a day at home. I have waitrose coming today to stock me up and I quite enjoy bling up for a day or two.
Robi I have a few options, shout if no one else wants to host.
haven't seen a snowflake here all winter but maybe tonight's the night. Not that I care, 40 degrees is cold enough for me and I don't mean Fahrenheit. Jude, I hope the heaps or whatever they are get sorted but maybe you can go out today lightly clad and have them freeze-dried?

I see the six nations begins today so it's possible I will be slumped on the sofa in front of the telly for some time. Kindly send a St Bernard if you haven't heard from me by Thursday.
bling up well I like that too but what I meant was being holed up.
I am making fish soup for lunch, very simple, chopped leek and potato stewed in stock with scallops and mussels.
How do you lot manage with freezing weather, whilst I am over having hot weather all the time and do enjoy cooler days (due I believe to old age!) I could not handle what's going on there right now .
Myeldest daughter who lives in Manchester went off on a week's holiday to Italy last weekend -due home to-morrow-had me worried to death in case she got snowed in on the train etc .No matter how old they get you never stop worrying do you .
Robi can you send me Neti's email address please ,not sure if she's got my new one or not .Many thanks .Bye for now -look after yourselves and keep warm. Love Dolly xxxx

Mail on the way Dolly! Hope your daughter arrives home safely.

Fire away woofy please...
Morning, we had snow at 9.30 and we danced in it, and Mr N said "Stop it, you are not 12!" it was lovely, and I've been for a very long 2hr walk with a few flakes not now the sun is out! ;0( but still jolly cold, oh I love this weather, house is colder that outside!!!

Hope you are all OK and keeping warm. Hija is cooking dinner so I am having a lazy day (again!)
Hi all again. And Dolly all the best to your Daughter for a safe journey home.
Done my shopping and sorted my house out. Got some really cheap earplugs for my phone from Sainsburys £2 odd. The lad told me they were the last of the Christmas Sale Stock and had been reduced twice they were originally £9. The ones that came with the phone are miles too big and wont stay in my lugs.
Thanks for kind words re my nethers. I'm not ever so worried now as much as I was because everything is 'working' properly. Dr thinks it may be a fissure or something with a name I can't pronouce, or even remember and if it's not much better I will have to go the the Royal. But thanks Woofy everything is crossed.
Chicken Korma today made with a jar of Korma Sauce from Sains. Lazy day except I'm using real chicken breast portion.
Re the Football Robi I always have the commentary on as well while I'm there so I know exactly who is kicking the ball. I do know most of them now but sometimes I don't and I don't want to look a fool with Steady's friends who I sit with. :o) May the best team win, then again we might lose :o) :o)
See what I did there?

Email Robi, hi Dolly, I can stand cold better than heat its actually warming up here so maybe no snow.....pity I love snow.....
The fish soup was deeply amazing and there is enough left for a starter for dinner. The dogs were impressed too, they queued for bits of dipped bagel and one scallop each.
Patio is getting on but we are all getting a bit restless now. If it was warmer I'd go shopping and take them with me but cars cool down to quickly....oh it's okay they are asleep......
Question Author
