bidding or ticket buying and the nightmare within...

I was up early this morning to try and ring the local box office for Lee Evans tickets while trying to book on line at the same time, I was on hold for 30 minutes, in the mean time I got better tickets on line but it was too slow and kept crashing and wanting me to submit full details the register an account before I could buy when I only had like 5 minutes left before my tickets were re-released to the public noooooooo!
Got two ok tickets in the end, was soooooo stressful though,
Do you have memories of bidding on ebay last minute or trying to get tickets....?
I used to bid last minute on ebay for vintage star wars items when I had dial up and everyone else had broadband pmsl
Also tried to get 'The Police' reunion tickets Birm NEC result - successful yay!
Failed to get tickets for a Starwars event about 5 years ago where they were running all the movies in one day with a separate prop's stand event....it was a one off!
Have you succeed against all odds or missed out on 'never to be seen again'?

Maybe free adds are the way if I had to sell but I don't like people I don't know turning up...so I'm stuck and give even valuable stuff to charity to see if gets a good home.
Wish I had done that with the auction items worth over £1,000 will get about £100 back from them. On top they damaged an electrical item messing about with it which now has no value was worth £100+, and some items seem to be missing from the auction all together they are probably round their house.

it was hardly scaremongering Mick, I just said what happened to me and for that reason I wouldn't again, it may well be fine from other sellers but naturally my bad experience put me off. Other than that I've always found ebay to be ace. Maybe worth trying to contact the seller before bidding to suss out if they're legit.
