Seems the council tax isnt such a big expense when you stop and think about it.

It was a social experiment conducted by the BBC in a street in Preston.I didn't realise you had to post about it in media rather than here where i thought people might care to chat about it.Its possible i was wrong?

Some obviously do.Possibly its the time of night?Or perhapse they have less interest in subjects of a less trivial nature?
You are wrong, mate. This is the time of night when dictatorial intolerance holds sway.
Oh, I see. But of course, as I didn't watch it, I didn't know what you meant. What programme was it on and do you think they will repeat it? If so, I will watch it.
Question Author
Dictatorial intolerance is no excuse for bad manners or facetiousness.Well not in my book anyway.
Question Author
Get it on BBCiplayer. As the title of the thread is the name of the programme.Very informative and interesting in my opinion at least.
A word of warning: If you can spell facetiousness correctly on here you could be in for a slap!
I saw most of it, I lost interest when they had to go cleaning up in other areas of their town - maybe a step too far? I also found the comment about evicting Tracie quite shocking.
Do you think it would work well in your area, Teddy?
Question Author
I have the feeling that on the whole it would be the same here as anywhere else. The street cleaning and toilet cleaning are council services that your and my council taxes pay for.Not so much a step too far , more an eyeopener to things that should be obvious but are easily overlooked or forgotten.I feel that all areas of England would probably have the same personality clashes.I mean i have seen that happen here too.
Well, forgive my ignorance, but I do not know what BBC iplayer is teddy, or whether I can get it on my tv. I pay virginmedia a lot of money for their top package, but I don't know whether it includes iplayer. Can you elucidate?
