My local gym... the 'manager' is a moron.
I can't think of any....I'm trying though.

Did you have to go through 12 menu options and a 30 minute hold before you got to speak to someone like you do with BT?

BT are my next nomination.
the Manager of the pub we were in on Saturday :o(

There must be someone Ummm. If you can't think of anyone, I'll nominate on your behalf.

You can have my local co-op.
BT for me, nearly two hours on the phone when I was trying to become one of their customers a few years ago, I dread to think what it's like to try and complain, unless they've improved of course.
BRITISH GAS!

Closely followed by BT!
Orange mobile
Vodafone
Sky TV.
NTL no contest I punched out three phones in frustration, once after waiting for 83minutes (no lie) at 8pm it was switch over to a message saying "our offices are now closed please call back tomorrow etc" It was after this I switched to Sky.

NTL are now of course Virgin - I had a number of incidents similar to Trigger, I had to have a replacement box - Waited 2 weeks 2 hours after they left new box failed rang up, wated, to be told they couldn't come back for 3 weeks.

Every time Virgin send me some sort of offer, I am tempered by these experiences every time.
Oh, and Santander are pretty useless too. Not so much on the phone, more my local branch.
Three Mobile (Vodafone have always looked after me FtS, when were you with them?).

The Japanese restaurant I had lunch in on saturday who ran out of everything, brought me the wrong second choice and didn't even bother bringing me another. However, as refused to pay we're probably not technically customers...?

Anglian water then...

Had a burst tank a couple of weeks ago. Went to turn the stopcock off (in the street) and it was broken. Anglian water said they'd be round in about an hour...while we had water p1ssing through the ceiling.
Oh, Three mobile are awful Ed! My Mum is with them, and can never, ever get a signal!
I was with Vodafone quite a few years ago, perhaps they have changed their ways.
Three mobile lure you in, with fantastic deals... and then you can't use the damn thing.
Orange are pretty terrible, mind. An hour and half I was on the phone to them, and still they couldn't sort it out. Useless.
Eds post just reminded me of a restaurant/pub I went to a few weeks ago with my family.
We all pretty much had the same, but for some bizarre reason, mine was stone cold. I asked if they could perhaps heat it up (I was overly nice and polite, as I hate complaining) and they said no problem and said how sorry they were. 25 minutes (and two glasses of wine) later, I had to remind them that I was still waiting. It came out a whole 45 minutes later, and after everyone else had finished. I felt like a wally sat there eating on my own!
