Good thank you - worked from home - always seem to do more hours when I'm working at home than when I'm in the office... a bit laptop-square-eyed at the moment!
Love Fridays - went to playgroup (but it is very, very small and we tend to just eat biscuits, let the kids get on with it and gossip). Don't do any ironing on a Friday (another plus point) and don't have to sort out lunch boxes. Got the party bags sorted for Sunday and went out for tea (so no cooking or washing up). Thing 1 and 2 currently asleep on a sofa each (they just won't go to sleep in their beds - grrrr) so sitting in the dark, with the wood burning stove on watching CDWM.
Dropped OH off at work this morning and took Alfie for a walk in the woods. Did some grocery shopping and then some housework. Now watching Hustle with a glass of vino.
I've been a bit like that this week Tink, feel a bit better now I've actually made a set decision and things are in motion. Been feeling a little strange though and in quite a reflective mood so glad of BB for a distraction :)
Want to go get a drink but so don't want to leave my nice warm sofa (all wrapped up in a throw), mind you am a bit off tea after someone made me and a colleague one at work earlier and luckily (for me rather than the other guy) he discovered the milk was all gross at the bottom (of his brew...after he drank it...ewwwww!). I was nearly gagging just trying to pour mine away without the person who made it seeing as didn't want them to feel bad!
I dont know how i feel jenna...its just one of those situations im always going to have my heart strings tugged but deep down i know for my own good i hav to look after myself first!!!
Sitting texting someone...puttn a smile on my face lol...as is the wine!
Could do with a wee chat actually and a laugh but friends r all busy! Mum has a mate in but theyre having lady chat and i dont wanna impose.....lol xx
Awwww! Get texting away or natter on here. Mine was a bit of a wrench too but I think it's the right thing to do. Just a bit unsettling (not in a really bad way though).
I think I'd be rubbish working from home Boxtops, too many things I'd get disctracted by :)
Ooh what's in the party bags Sherr? Woodburner sounds lovely!
Oh I forgot Hustle is on! Hope it's repeated. Hope you had better whether there than we do up here for the walk in the woods.
cont,d funnily enough phoned provider(V)and service came back 20 secs later(coincident)felt foolish so had a vodka x2 also watching hustle.Has any abers from glasgow been suffering power cuts lately?
I'm watching Million Pound Drop (v+-ing celeb bb) with a bag of Tyrells sweet and salty popcorn. It's extremely weird but delicious lol
Unfortunately I am working all weekend, no day off until next Friday and I have a thumping headache which has not made my day enjoyable lol :(
Ooh my broadband has been playing up too! Never usually does it (usual problem is one of the cats knocking one of the leads out of the router!) but it's gone off twice tonight so wondered if there was a problem somewhere.
Quiet day today, bit of shopping, cleaning the living room and kitchen.
Now watching Hustle, just eaten some seafood with a slice of wholemeal bread, on to the white wine in a mo. Oh yes and a friend of my husband called today with a (horrendous) multicoloured crocheted squares wool blanket, that his wife had just finished. A blow back from the 70's I think. It is truly awful I don't know where to put it. OH said he will put it in our new car, OMG it is so very pensioner looking.
wine, chat on fb, wine, check tv, wine, eat Tyrells crisps (totally divine), wine, check AB, wine, chat to mate on phone, wine....
hmmm there may be too much activity here, after a nightmare of a week at work....
may have to concentrate on purely the wine... Ta Ta :)
Ooh we'll have to keep quiet on here about the evictees then vodka so we don't spoil it for you :)
Ahh ayg, I have a little mini one my mum got for my cat I had before my current too. It is in their cat basket (not that they go in there very often) but it's quite cute. I tried to pick up crocheting again recently (determined to make something for my nephew!) but lost the knack! Got taught when I volunteered at a hospice but quite a long time ago now.
Tried knitting again but arthritis doesn't like it and inevitably ended up with a cat hanging on the end of one of the needles!
