Have you got the message about Simon Cowell yet?
After a week of stories and headlines asserting Simon Cowell's undoubted heterosexuality come these classics in today's Daily Star...COWELL: MY ROMPS WITH LAP DANCER, and SI LOVES P3 BABES AND SEXY STRIPPERS. Have you got the message yet - Simon Cowell is NOT gay! Honest. I know he's represented by arch-spin-doctor Max Clifford, and I know David Walliams is doing his best on BGT to tell the World that Simon is a queen from Brighton, but surely all this publicity means Mr Cowell is indeed a red-blooded male. Er, isn't he?

em10 - he coh ts because Syco is one of Britain's largest and most successful media entertainments groups. Saying he doesn't matter is like saying Richard Branson doesn't matter. These men guarantee jobs for thousands of people.
They matter.
VHG - Britain's Got Talent gets 12.2 million viewers, and The Voice is slightly behind with 12.1 million viewers.

Sorry SP I'm actually with em10 on this, he doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things and niether does Richard Branson. If they, as individuals, were not in existance somthing or somone would replace them, they're totally irrelevant. Now if your talking about the small scheme of things they matter economically but as a matter of course they're about as irrelevent as any other entrepreneur ( finally) made good.
Simon's press agent is Max Clifford - so no-one can wonder too much at the saturation coverage of all things Cowell as he promotes his new series.
The BBC have a go with their 'Jessie J is a lesbian shock horror probe ....' nonsense which fell flat on its bottom because slightly ahead of the fact that no-one is remotely interested, came the assertion from Jessie herself that she has never hidden her sexuality - and indeed, why should she?
As we have known since the earliest days of the Rolling Stones, there is no such thing as bad publicity, but that does not mean that there is not such a thing as publicity badly done.
