I don't know what all the fuss was about with that 12 year old girl in the weird dress. Imo her voice was OK, but not exceptional. I liked the father with the 3 sons and I hope they get to the final.

i liked the father and son group too, a had a little tear in my eye! Same opinion as you about the girl singer. I really liked Jonathon, he danced beautifully. I'd like to see him in the final, too.

She did tend to shout her song, but that dress was awful, what was her mother thinking.

My yardstick for 'talent' is somewhat different from the majority of viewers -

would I sit and watch it on my TV on a Saturday night - yes.

would I dress up, go out, and pay £10 to see it in a theatre - most often, no.

That is why so few acts actually succeed when the hype and exposure of the show has evaporated.

You're quite right, andy. I would travel miles to see Jasper Carrott in concert but there are very few other comedians I'd pay to see.

I once saw Rose Royce, The Real Thing, Sister Sledge and Odyssey for a tenner at Fairfield Halls, Croydon,.....but paid over £20 for Shakin' Stevens same venue ( Mrs bear likes him and forced me to go....really!) so what a difference in quality, eh?
I wanted a refund from Shaky, but he was entertaining to say the least....and his fans are mad about him, some even dressed up like him, which was rather amusing in the bar.
