Gordon Ramsay Kitchen Nightmares
10 Answers
Hello everybody!
Has anyone watched Kitchen Nightmares (US version) Season 2, episode 6 [Hannah & Mason's]? I'm only at the 11 minute mark and I'm lost for words. They were 'selling' and serving contaminated food on Valentines Day.
It's available on YouTube however due to the language spoken, I'm unable to link it directly here. If you're at least 18 years or older and have a strong stomach and no appetite and aren't about to eat, it's a pretty harrowing yet interesting episode.
I've completely, up till now, 6 food hygiene and food safety courses and I've also watched some pretty horrendous videos of UK 'kitchen nightmares' - not by Gordon Ramsay but by the health department and non of them have come even close to how terrible 'Hannah & Mason's' so called restaurant is. Gordon called it the Valentine Massacre.

At the very least, it's necessary to be clean at all times. I often wonder if the same is done in the US...and if it isn't, why not. So many of those kitchens are absolutely filthy. Ramsey is sometimes seen running to the loo.
Most of the episodes leave me speechless and wondering why I go out and pay good money fir food experts to provide me with a meal. But I've overdosed on that programme now. Not fussed whether I catch one or not.
Thank goodness for the food standards agency food hygiene rating: and why don't they inspect every month.

Well I just watch them when I want so I'm not stuck to any schedule. The benefits of a VPN I suppose. Just set the VPN to Texas (one of the faster locations in the US that our VPN provider allows us to 'bounce' through) and YouTube allows one to watch stuff, in the US, that can't be watched by people in the UK. Too much copyrighted stuff. Silly really since anyone with half a braincell that's willing to pay 10USD a month can just bounce through a proxy and view things otherwise not accessible by people in the UK.
Can't watch 'normal' TV, not got a TV license.
