It's A Lovely Saturday

although to be fair one day seems pretty much like another after 4 weeks off, getting tedious now.
Got a terrace table booked for an early evening meal, hopefully it will stay nice, no cooking :o)
been a very lazy day so far.

Bit windier today around here though sunny and warm. I was going to cook a paella on the patio today but think I will postpone for today. I wish I had done it yesterday. :-(

Bit late now. I still have the chicken joints ,large jumbo prawns, assorted sea food cocktail and chorizos still in the freezer. I prefer them to defrost naturally rather than in the microwave. I should of got them out last night or earlier this morning.

It's overcast here but we're still managing to sit outside and the little monster is playing in his paddling pool.

Was lovely, cold cuts with really fresh salad stuff, enjoyed it. Couple of cold beers apiece except Nat who was driving, she'll catch up :o)

Re 1255. Thanks Tashi. I bit the bullet and took your advice and went for it. I had all the makings for a Paella from 'Spanish week' two weeks ago at Lidl except for the Rioja. Quick run up to Lidl again and got 6 bottles of their great Rioja @ £4.99 a pop.My youngest son came round and as I prepped in the garden there was a few spits and spots. Carried on regardless and the sun came out and we had a fantastic meal with loads of laughs and Rioja. The flies hit us with a vengence though and we had several wasps wishing to join us. I ha ve not seen wasps this year until to today. Hey Ho. Viva Espana in our back garden.Plenty left over if you Kate,Balders and Nat are in leafy Surrey. Sante
