My housemate just got one of these new HD-tv ready tvs..made by Viewsonic

He'd like to calibrate the SKY+ control so he can control the volume etc from that one handset...but VIEWSONIC is not listed as a make of tv in the SKY+ set-up section for remote controls.

I know its lazy, but does anyone know how to get round this?

I had a remote that i could press whatever button it was to program it but use zeros for a code. I assume you use the same ammount of zeros as the rest of the codes that are listed ( 4 digit code = 4 zeros ) Once you enter the 0000 code you keep repeatedly pressing the power button until the appliance turns off. Once it turns off, you press the enter button or something like that to accept it. You may need to press the power button a hundred times or so but its always worked for me. Worth a try at least. Hope this helps.
