I'd be interested to see what you thought of wife swap's Oli last night (the father of the 3 boys). I found him to be really irritating and ended up feeling incredibly sorry for his wife, she seemed like she was too scared to confront him. The whole point of the programme was to swap roles, he just locked himself in the bathroom pretending to be a pirate!! I am all for women going to work and stay at home husbands, but he did seem a little unbalanced/troubled.

I thought he was great!! the other woman was a right chav!
He was a dosser and another word not so far from that too, but I didnt feel sorry for his wife at all because she just seemed to like being treated like a doormat. The kids were disgusting, yer kids should have their own fashion etc but to not wash or change their pants! Yuk. I cant see why the parents wernt embarassed about that. He seemed like a man that just wont ever grow up to me.
Its was just two families who have opposite priorities - as always on Wife Swap!

I think there were faults within both families...

Bathing once a week in extremely unhygienic but the dad was right about natural hair and body oils...and its true - the more me wash the more our body and hair need a wash! (Not that i would ever leave it for a week to find out!)

He was REALLY immature but i thought his kids wouldve been old enough to know that they should wash regulary.

On the other hand - the 'clean' wife kept moaning on about materialistic things 'trainers, shoes, clothes etc etc...and everyone man/most men have a pair of scraggy boxers which they seem to have an attachment with (i know boyfriend has - even though i try and get him to throw them out!)

I thought the kids of the 'clean' family were absolute diamonds. The best line of the programme was when the kid asked his dad whether he'd ever made a 'fun' chart and his dad said "yes" and the kid argued"well, i find that hard to believe!"

I was so intreagued by them I watched the "what happened next" on E4. I am not sure if any of you saw that either, but the "dirty" family refused to sit with the "clean" (materialistic)family and at one point even stormed out of the channel 4 studios effing and blinding about how Channel 4 is exploiting them and how society feeds off this type of programme and it's sick. (The question of why they went on it, poped into my head - but that's irrelevant). The "dirty" boys went on to accuse the "clean" woman of planting the pants, and it all got a but ugly.
It struck me that Oli had maybe had a run in with some kind of controlling power as he kept blasting the government and society, which might have caused him to rebel.
Again wife swap provided a very interesting look into other people lives.

BIT ugly, not but ugly :o)
I thought he was lazy dossing git who hid behind an eco warrior facade
families like those have no aspirations upwards at all and are blissfully happy to wallow in their own world.
i thought he was a work shy dosser who had no idea how to provide for his family. His dream of making money from his music is ridiculous. It was like he was a college boy with no cares in the world, not a middle aged man with a wife and kids
