What embarrassing things have you done...

...to get the attention of a girl/boy you liked?

What lengths have you gone to just to get someone to notice you? Did it work?

I had old friends visiting this weekend and we were talking about all the embarassing things we used to do in our youth! My mum always tells me about when she was about 16/17 and trying to get my dads attention her and her firend used to get the bus in completely the opposite direction they needed to go, just so that it would go past my dads school and he and his friends might notice them on the bus!

I remember I used to write strange flirtatious text messages as if I was having some fling with someone and send them to this boy. When he texted back asking what I was talking about I'd say it was meant for someone else and I'd accidently sent it to him! The aim was that it would get us into conversation and he would become insanely jealous at the thought I might be with someone else! Needless to say it never worked and I remain deeplt embarrassed many years down the line by these attempts!

Believe me, that's usually enough in my case.... Tongue has an uncanny knack of getting all tied up and babbling.
