whats up with cara louises face on big brother. she has a section of hair at the front which is white blonde. at first i thought it was dyed that way but my boyfriend pointed out that a patch of skin on her forehead has no pigmentation more or less down to her eye brows where that section of hair is.

what would cause that and why is it there? is it a birth thing or what?

its just a birth mark

It may be a condition called Vitilgo which causes de-pigmentation in some areas on the skin. I know a few people who have it.

Kara-Louise does have vitiligo and this can also cause the pigment in the hair to disappear.

She told shanessa its a birthmark, she was born with part of her forehead lighter and her hair on that side grows blonde

Whats up with her hair?? You say it as if somethings wrong, lol. Yes it�s a pigmentation thing, my mate has it under one of his arms so he has one arm with white underhair

Yep definitely a birthmark as they were discussing it and she described it as a birthmark that had gone up into her hair causing it to go blonde.

She did not mention vitiligo

Its good as people pay to have their hair like that.

My son has opposite solour he has a jet black patch in his hair and im forever explaining to people no he hasn;t drawn with felt in his hair! lol

I don't think it's a birthmark in the usual sense; it's almost certainly a genetic thing. I've seen several people with this effect over the years; it's always slightly on one side of the head at the hairline causing a streak of white hair across the head.

I've always thought that (on women) it looks quite attractive!
