I was Shocked (with a capital S) and disappointed when Rhydian lost last night . i thought he sang perfectly he never warbled which a lot of tenors tend to do. I really do hope he finds success and that we get the chance to give him the number one he deserves. he would be perfect in a musical .
By the way I agree with gina32 . What do his his personal details have to do with any thing. Even if he had purple hair he has a great voice and that is all that matters.:-D

It was obvious he wasn't going to win - the song was obviously chosen with Leon in mind as it suits his voice better.

Leon will be a one album wonder (as past winners) but Rhydian will be the one with a career!

I think Rhydian has a very good voice but sounds exactly the same as loads of other singers of his ilk. He did have the best voice in the contest, but he wasn't up against any real competition. I personally think he has a future in musical theatre, but won't be a world superstar or anywhere near it. His looks and personality fail him as well.

The duet with Katherine Jenkins was a complete failure as he was completely overshadowed and I honestly believe Leon's version of the final song was more appealing than Rhydians and that is what won him the competition.

What a fiasco this whole thing has become.
