Jon Benet Ramsey and Madeleine McCann

All these years after Jon Benet Ramsey was murdered it has been announced to day that further DNA investigations have ruled her parents out of any question of guilt in her death. John Ramsey is broke, Patsy Ramsey is dead ... and the Boulder Police are sorry.

The police in Portugal, after a few months of fluffing about doing nothing, declared Kate and Gerry McCann suspects in the disappearance of little Madeleine and that was that.

So no one has ever been sought or arrested for the murder of Jon Benet and no one has ever, seriously been looking for the missing Madeleine.

Does anyone else think there are some sadly miscalculated priorities here somewhere?

The murder of Jonbenet Ramsey was solved by an investigated reporter but the police and the district attorneys department have taken 10 years to admit they screwed up from day one

I didn't say it, Oneeyedvic, Kate McCann said it. On the news a few days ago when it was announced that the Portugese police were probably going to wind up the case, Kate McCann said she'd realised now that from day one they'd had the family and friends in their sites, and that no one had ever seriously been looking for Madeleine ( as in authorities.)

But there's no statute of limitations for murder in America, kev1, so if they know who murdered Jon Benet, why haven't they been arrested and charged for goodness sake?
