Rex and Nicole oh its painful to watch!!

I was in a realationship with a man like Rex - arrogant, controlling, possessive for 4 years. I hope she sees the light sooner than I did and dumps him like she just said. She will when she's ready thats for sure. There relationship isnt long for this world sadly.

They are both as bad as each other. She keeps on using her age as an excuse for her behaviour. If thats the case then she is too immature for a relationship.

He on the other hand is an obsessive control freak who is never in the wrong. He is nasty to Nicole as well as the rest of the house-mates.

I agree with everything you say about Rex.However after watching the other day (Thursday or Friday - can't remember which) I did start to feel a bit sorry for him. Rex was talking to Kat, while Nicole was sulking, again, outside. He was illustrating what Nicole was like by recounting one occasion when he took her out.Rex said he had planned the evening and wanted it to be extra special.
First they went to the theatre where he had paid for a box.She moaned. Then they went to dine at Gordon Ramseys, where she took one look at the menu and said she didn't want anything. I think he then took her to a nightclub.When they got back home,Nicole asked for a glass of water. When Rex returned with the water, she had gone to bed without a word- or a thank you!
Rex told Kat that Nicole was an only child and very spoilt.
I don't think she will dump him until she gets another 'rich sucker' who will wine,dine and buy her designer clothes.Until such time she will just put up with millionaire's son,Rex .

she is as horrible as him but I wonder if that's because when a person spends a lot of time with a another it's not unusual for them to take on that persons characteristics and behavours and project them as their own.
Rex: Mo took my cans of beer so he's not having any this week it's that simple.
Nicole: He stole the beers, he's not having any it's that simple.
A little later -
Rex: Mo can have some beers I've decided, let him have some.
Nicole: Mo can have some beers now it's fine.


Mo said thank you to Rex and Rex told Nicole he didn't even say thanks to which she responded. There's something seriously wrong with that guy, how rude.

Rex proved himself to be a liar. Harper I wouldn't be so quick to believe his story of Nicole. He's manipulative, the people in the house and the audience.
I think Rachel going as shocked him and he's now worried he's got it wrong and will set of to manipulate the audience again. And it appears it's working..

I don't think any woman deserves to be treated this way and I hope she educates herself about the abuse and leaves. I don't particularily like her, but if she doesn't leave she will slowly become a shadow of herself.

Drives me mad watching him. I think it tends to be woman who have been in that situation who can see it. It stands out a mile, the jealousy, controlling, twisting of situations, making her feel like the one in the wrong. Threatening to poke her eye out with a fork..."joke" ha ha. Calling her a selfish beach for wearing high heels when she's with him....grrrr get a grip.

The guy is abusive to everyone in the house, though has backed off from Mikey now as he realises he can not bully him.

Jedimistress, I answered to anohter thread you posted on but now I see this you saved me the necessity to explain -SO right if you've been there you know, and it's easy to dis Nicole for putting up with it cod she's self mconfesed 'high maintenance'. I don't see it that way completely, don't get me wring - I don't lik anyone thinkiing they are better then me, stuck up wjatver, but I have seen her stand upto him a lot of times and tell him he's talking **** (i.e. high heels, bellybuton etc, when from what we know he's got more to worry about 'than her, maybe why he's soparanoid) and she is VERY young?
