Hiya yes it was sung by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole! I 1st heard it in 50 1st Dates film.
I first came across it in the episode of 'ER' where Mark Greene was spending his last minutes looking over the ocean, before dying of a brain tumour.

It was also featured in Joe Black with Brad Pitt - it's on the Joe Black soundtrack.

There is also a version where 'somewhere over the rainbow' blends into 'it's a wonderful world' - lovely lovely lovely.

I know this is a bit morbid, but it's one of the songs I would like played at my funeral.
Me too - I love it!
i was wonder this question too. a brilliant version of the song,

I missed it. Anyone got a link?
